When the newspaper editor-in-chief Yu Lei (starred by Ge Bu) and his assistant Ouyang Yuan (starred by Jiang Nan) were investigating supernatural news materials, they inadvertently touched an old case of repeated suicides in a school dormitory decades ago. Yu Lei herself was also in danger. With the help of Ouyang Yuan and his friend Ji Hai (starred by Yuan Jiahuan), the three finally found out the truth and got rid of the crisis.

The plot revolves around a man struggling with depression who stumbles upon an eerie mask that gives him an overwhelming sense of euphoria whenever he wears it.
